Thank you for completing the online assessment.
From our years of experience, successfully directing and managing manufacturing operations, we have identified processes within operations that have a significant influence on performance but are difficult to measure.
The seven components we assess are; Leadership, Health, Safety and Environment (HSE), Quality, Planning, Continuous Improvement, People and Customer focus. These components either drive or make a vital contribution to operational performance.
Why is this important?
In manufacturing businesses the cost of sales primarily; labour, materials and transport, tends to be over 60% of turnover. Thereby, operational performance has the most significant influence on gross margin contribution.
OAG high level assessments
OAG have a range of assessments; from macro to micro and from self to independent. The high level assessments enable you to apply your own standards, set aspirations and analyse the gap for each component. The highest level assessment delivers full operations due diligence with an improvement strategy and features; a detailed analysis, diagnostics, a tailored report plus improvement plan, presentation and gap closing financial benefits.
Our goal is to give you a detailed analysis of where the business operations are right now and then assist in driving operational excellence and improving gross margin.
The level one online assessment report
You have completed the entry level self-assessment macro view of your operation. The responses you have given to the nine questions provide an insight into its strengths and weaknesses. By compiling the resultant data, the following executive summary is generated which offers an overview of the current status, questions to ask and a starting point for improvements. The report will also identify the areas that will benefit from a detailed, high level assessment.
How is the level one report scored?
Your responses to the online assessment questions have been compiled to arrive at an overall score for each component. The score achieved is used to define the current status of the manufacturing operation.
There are three status bands; Red, Amber and Green:
Scores in the Red band indicate which processes require extensive and rapid improvement.
The Amber band indicates that the processes exist but not all of them are functioning at the required level and will require improvement.
The Green band suggests that the processes are operating according to your current requirements. To achieve the next level of performance improvement will need a more detailed assessment.
The executive summary
Your executive summary contains an overview of the current status of the seven components and guidance as to the next steps.
