It is hard to imagine an operation or business that can be competitive and sustainable if it is not Continuously improving. Continuous Improvement (CI), is a long-term approach to work that systematically seeks to achieve small, incremental changes in processes in order to improve efficiency and quality. The process is designed to deliver incremental improvement over time and workshop-based step changes.
Rants, Tips, Quotes and Funnies
Factories are full of memorable moments, avoidable mistakes and funny situations. We would love to receive your manufacturing operations related; rants, tips, quotes, stories and funnies and if they make it to the top of the pile we might publish them in our blog. They need to be punchy, less than 250 words and have a catchy title. Avoid anything that might cause offence and please check your grammar.
Send them to firstname.lastname@example.org stating your name, your position at the time and whether it is a rant, tip, quote, story or funny and avoid mentioning company names. Operations people don’t tend to be shy so let’s get blogging!
